Do you understand the legalities concerning pen-testing and hackers?
Or the relevancy of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in correlation to digital design and business strategy?
Are you aware of the law of Data Security in companies?
We cordially invite you to the first Talk and Q&A with HackIT. This will be an evening of law and (dis)order, finishing off with dinner and socialization. We will have a guest speaker, educating and explaining the complexities of law within hacking and ethics:
Vanderleia Dionizio is a lawyer with a master’s degree in Software Development from ITU. As a former ITU Innovator, Vanderleia’s work experience ranges from International Contracts, Intellectual Property and Life Sciences and has competences in software architecture, program languages and project management. Vanderleia is currently working with the legal side of IT, and spends her days involved in many types of activities from global privacy law issues to cybersecurity.
We will delve into the legality of pursuing pen-testing – both as a freelance hacker and within a company. Focus will be on both the technical and business side of ethical hacking within law.
Do you have any questions for our awesome speaker? If you have, then please write to us with a specific question and she will prepare for the 26th to answer. If you are unsure of which questions to pose, then don’t worry. There will be a Q&A session after the talk.
